Thats alright then. And Football is back!!! I missed half of the game thanks to work but im home now.

Oh man that football game last night was awesome. I hate the packers, but Aaron Rodgers and that team put on a show. They even had a kickoff return for a touchdown, so much for NFL's stupid kickoff rule lol

I would watch Football if there wasn't so many ad breaks!. Maybe I'll DVR a game so I can fast forward thru the adverts. There's abit too many delays in the game too with the replays and the referees/upmires having to watch footage and decide if it is a touchdown etc.

With soccer (or football as we call it over here) there isn't many interruptions and it's 45 minutes each half for a 90 minute game in total. Depending upon if it's a cup game (like during the later stages of the World Cup for example), it can be an additional 30 minutes (15 minutes each half again) then penalties if a team is still drawing. So when you're used to watching soccer and then see a Football game there's a lot of difference. Also in soccer there are draws, so if a game finishes 0-0, that will be a result. Whilst if a game finished 14-14 in the NFL for example the game would go into overtime.

I kinda know the rules of the football from playing Madden so I do like it. I usually check to see how the Ravens are doing too, so they could be the team I support. I'm more of a basketball fan, so it will be good when the NBA returns, but they're still in the lock-out stage at the moment, because they haven't agreed on the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) yet.

Well, the ad breaks are only like a minute long, much better then watching a TV show, where there's 4 minutes of commericals every 10 minutes lol. The comercials i have gotten used to, though i am a huge sports fan in general, so i have to be used to it.

I have never really gotten into soccer, too much defense and it just doesn't excite me.

Yeah i like basketball as well, unfortunately we may be without it for an entire year.

I am going to my first NFL game in 2 weeks from this sunday. I am excited to go. I've been to MLB games but never a NFL one.

Well it kind of will suck it seems Manning is out for a while for the Colts. But I'm going to see the Colts vs Steelers game.

Soccer is the closest thing to football. The NFL is more like handball as the ball spends more time in a players hand then at his feet.

Actually a half hour show has about 5 minutes worth of ads, an hour show between 5 and 10 minutes depending on the network and of course if get the premium networks like starz or hbo your lookin at 57 or so minutes worth of show.

I like the Cardinals, Bears and Ravens (though Ravens mainly cause of Stacy)

Oh yeah, that sucks, Peyton will definitely not be playing in 2 weeks. Well hopefully it will still be a fun game, maybe you can go back in the next year or so when Peyton is hopefully better again, it would be awesome to see him play.

Today is groceries/out to eat day. And tomorrow is bowling/A LOT of football to watch day.

Yeah, my sunday afternoons/evenings will most likely be all about football for the next 16 or so weeks lol, saturdays are always up in the air for me.

my weekend so far has been work a plated dinner for a wedding reception on saturday for 166 people. I managed to slice my finger real good and bled through three towels. That glass hurt bad. Then today I worked a picnic for 430 people. Im tired as heck.

Well thats no good on the on figure front, you might need to get it looked at to make sure it doesn't need stitches etc.

got get up in about 8 hours to certify the other bowling center in the local bowling assoc otherwise trying to make up for the missed sleep this morning
