That is for sure heck in the playoffs Eli might be THE best qb in history. He has won the most road games ever in nfl history I heard today. So he is elite it seems. Payton just has reg season numbers more then him so far.

So how do you think peyton would play for if the colts part ways with him?

It may be because i'm a Jets fan, but i think he'd fit well with the Jets. They are a good team, but Mark Sanchez ruins them. He'd have a good running game, great defense, and a pretty good receiving core, depending on if they can sign any good free agent recievers.

That would work but I don't think he would go to play in the same town as his brother though. I think honestly my pick would be your states team John. they are a good team except for the qb.

Oh Arizona of course! Peyton to Fitzgerald would be deadly. And their running game is even better with beanie wells.

Of course thats assuming anybody wants to pay whatever his salary is and of course he doesn't stay where he is or retire. Hell the best qb we had was Warner that actually managed to do anything

Well I can hear the season tickets opening up as people turn them in today. It seems Peyton is no longer a Colt and after watching them live on tv do it. It seems he really liked it here. Hopefully he does well where ever he goes. I'm sure he can do it for sure.

Yeah, it will be interesting for sure to see where he goes and leads his new team. I have a feeling it will be Miami, but who knows

This is all based on the assumption he can still throw etc. Though he could turn into the next Farve and bounce around for a couple years before basically being forced into retirement.

Good point, his situation is very reminiscent to the end of Farve's career. Nobody thought he'd leave Green Bay, then he plays for 3 more years with other teams. I just hope Peyton doesn't start talking about "retiring" over and over again!

Hope he saw what happened to Farve and learned something but time will tell.

Sure its not about money yet the timing is fishy, Peyton was due 28 million tomorrow according to his contract yet the team and him to a degree have a press conference the day before about two sides parting ways. Yes I'm sure in owners head it was about the money since there are questions around Peyton and his throwing plus it allows the team to get who everybody kind of figures they'll get in the draft

Yeah I think Peyton is a little more classy then Brett and shouldnt do the retirement game. I actually kind of hope he goes to AZ there John as that is about the only thing t hat team needs to be good is a qb. He would look odd in red and not blue though.

We can hope right. Look at what the Cardinals did in the two years that Warner was the teams qb.

Truthfully I think for what its worth for long time fans of the Colts will find it odd to see him in any thing but Colts blue but thats just me

I bet so and yes the Cards did great things with Kurt. I imagine so as well but we will see what happens now with Indy's team for next season.

Mind you in all of this is the bigger question can he still do what he was able to do until last season for any team, which is one the reasons the Colts and him parted ways

The Rock and Cena hour show before Raw tonight has been pretty good. Though I'm still feeling very blah tonight...

Needless to say I missed that and Raw because of having to make a couple of deliveries.

Thoughts on Peyton going to Denver?

Good for him. I hope he does well he deserves it. And well the Colts are going to be bad for years now with all the cuts they made. So he hopefully gets some wins with Denver. They have some young talent on that team that he could boost up with his play.

It seems though in the process they kind of annoyed the fans by shipping Tebow off to the Jets mainly because it appears they didn't like his style.

Also the question of how well he can throw etc are still going to be present.

How has everyones weekend been? Mine has been boring as heck and missing someone.

It was a nice day out today so i was outside washing cars, playing basketball and enjoying the outdoors. Really it was my most productive day all week. Tomorrow is back to bowling after an easter hiatus.

Well hope tomorrow is more entertaining for you Barry, being bored gets old fast lol.

Well the interesting part of my day was seeing a movie, the rest sucked, moving white stuff from the sky ah well at least I get food out of the deal

Sounds like you had the best day out of all of us Ryan. John worked his butt off with the snow and I sat on mine all day by my phone. Well hopefully tomorrow is a better day for me... time will tell.

I would take either of your days for the most part over mine but its just about over so thats something I guess
